The First Step Matters Most

Scripture: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9 (NIV)

Reflection: Fear has a way of growing the longer we stare at it. Courage isn’t about removing fear—it’s about moving forward in spite of it. The first step, no matter how small, begins to shrink the size of what you’re facing. That conversation you’ve been avoiding, that opportunity you’ve been second-guessing—both become less daunting once you act.
